Houston Reads Together
The third annual celebration
The joy of books - the power of literacy - and the benefits
of community. This partnership between The Houston Chronicle, the Houston Public
Library and the City of Houston is a community-wide effort designed to encourage
reading of the same book at the same time. It is meant to inspire reading and
thoughtful discussion among Houstonians in libraries, classrooms, bookstores,
coffee shops and anywhere they happen to come together.
Generous support provided by The Brown Foundation, Fondren Foundation, Cullen Foundation and the Texas State Library and Archives Commission.
